Today, our Y11 students went to Eastbury Manor House, an old Elizabethan house, right on our doorstep. They explored the house’s design, which was intended to showcase the owner’s wealth and status.
They also delved into the building’s purpose and history. This visit connects to the students’ GCSE studies of Hardwick Hall, allowing them to compare the key features of these two significant Elizabethan houses.
