Through the unique partnership with London Youngbloods Basketball Club, RBA are pleased to welcome Coach Stephen Onireti as our new head coach. He brings a wealth of experience being in over 20 national schools finals, winning 11 titles, head coach of the London under 15 boys team. This means that all sessions, games and analysis will be of the highest standard aligned with a professional pathway and approach as much as possible.

American college basketball opportunity

RBA and London Youngbloods have created a unique opportunity for some of the boys and girls to attend camps in America. These camps are designed to spot talents in aid of getting them athletic scholarships. There have been many boys and girls that have gone on to high schools and colleges from our program and we will be aiming for more in the future.

Coach Stephen

“Coaching has been my passion ever since I picked up a ball. My love for the game of basketball goes deep especially playing under powerhouse coaches such as Joe White, Jimmy Roger and Caroline Charles. I enjoy developing players and seeing them achieve great things. Seeing them grow into young adults makes coaching worth it. I am a very competitive coach that loves to win. This winning mentality is what I plan on bringing to Riverside Academy”

Favorite quote:

“If you train hard, winning is easy. If you train easy winning is hard”
