Last week, a group of Year 7 students enjoyed a workshop at The National Archives. They had the opportunity to view documents from the Middle Ages, including a replica of the Domesday Book and tally sticks. This experience directly relates to their current History studies of the Norman Conquest. Students were able to decode some Old English and gain insights into medieval society by examining these archival documents.
