The A level Art students attended a trip to the V&A and the Saatchi Gallery where they investigated art history across the world vs contemporary art today. The students had an amazing time drawing ancient artefacts up close and learning how artists today bring context into their work in a range of different media, styles and techniques. The students found the art very inspiring and found lots of artists to inform their personal projects.
